"The People Finally Understand That Voting Changes Nothing"

"Voter Apathy Is Good"

  1. Thing is Ian, the poor number of voters turning out should be proof enough to the 'establishment' that there really is no confidence in any of the candidates. Stupidly, I have not registered to vote for a number of years because I am one of the 'my vote wont count' brigade. I firmly believe that that the 'establishment' are nothing more than a bunch of overpaid back scratching idiots, who are only really interested in self gain. I mean, how many members of the states over the years have been a Managing Director of this business, owner of that business, etc. I only recently started thinking things through because of blog's like yours (thank you) and other like minded people. The sad thing is, I don't ever think the efforts of people like yourself will change anything in our lifetimes. I don't mean any disrespect to at all, but it just the way the system works. They have absolute power. Its going to take this generation who are educated in the correct manner, to form an opinion based on BOTH sides of a story, not for what they can get out of it. Until then, they should read blog's like yours and other resources and get informed. Whilst I don't know Sam Mezec, I can honestly say I would never have voted for him. Why? Because I believe he is too immature to be considered for such a role. He may be a really nice guy, but I have heard a couple of things that don't sit right with me, and he comes across as a whiney kid and I personally know of one person who received an abusive message from him on social media because he didn't like an opinion/comment my friend had made. I wont go into it here, but I will gladly PM you what I know.

Please, please keep up the good fight as sense will, one day, prevail

Thank you uncle Bob, because you are now thinking things through, that is exactly what I wished and why I changed the nature of the blog last year.

And as you state, things may not change in our lifetime but, we have children, what use are we if we are not looking out for their future?

I am pleased you have awoken from your slumber, just like I did a few years back, go teach uncle Bob, go wake the sheep up.

Be the next shepherd by teaching the sheep you awaken to go out and do the same by also becoming a shepherd :)
