"Jersey Small Business Not Seeing The Bigger Picture"

"I.C.L.E.I. & Agenda 21"

I.C.L.E.I. is basically the localised version of Agenda 21 designed to manipulate and destroy small business, steal land and property and bankrupt small communities leaving them under the control of, and dependent upon government.

This is all done under the United Nations shroud of Sustainable Development which incorporates such phrases as "smart growth", "going green" and other such poppycock.

Check out "The Delphi Technique" to understand how planning departments everywhere are operating, then you may understand what is really going down with our planning department here in Jersey. The story below is a great example of Agenda 21 in action, you cannot work in Jersey unless you go through OUR government backed agency!!!

Another fine example of I.C.L.E.I. and Agenda 21 in Jersey is the Kanetech Ltd case, wherein the authorities will stop at nothing to drag small companies like Kanetech under the

Government then use cases like Kanetech's to create new precedents in law (statutory) whereby they can pass legislation to control small business and eventually take over such business through licenses and permits reducing everyone to the status of slave.

Remember that when you "Submit" an "Application" for "Registration" you are giving up all of your inalienable rights in exchange for government sponsored benefits and privileges.

Since when has government ever benefited you?

Small business employers reach crisis point

Leah Ferguson reports.

Small business employers in Jersey say they have reached crisis point as the government won't allow them to recruit the staff they need.

The States new Population Policy has meant a major crackdown on business licenses to employ non-locals.

But employers say they can't find 'local' people with the right qualifications for the job. A 'local' is someone who has lived here more than five years.

So some are resorting to what they are calling a legitimate loophole - finding non-local staff via recruitment agencies, but at vast expense.

Tony Fitzpatrick owns a local barber shop in St Helier. One of his staff members left last July and he has been trying to fill the position ever since.

He said: "It's very frustrating, I was very stressed over it. I'm not allowed to recruit anybody with less than five years, but there is nobody out there locally who can do the job who is unemployed, I've been advertising since the 3rd July, we're now into March."

But Tony has found a non-local who he says is perfect for the job. He said: "I can't employ her directly, so I have to take her through an agency. I just think it's crazy, I've got a girl who can do the job, but I'm not allowed to employ her, it's just madness to me.

St Helier Constable Simon Crowcroft said: "It does rather make a nonsense of the Population Policy that someone like Tony has to go around the houses, effectively ends up paying out of his own pocket the money that the agency is taking, in order for him to get the right person for the job he has to fill."

Deputy James Baker, who owns a recruitment agency, says that he is equally frustrated by the Population Office's new restrictions on employment. He says his agency is not a loophole.

He said: "Recruitment agencies are not a workaround for the population policy. Any of our clients and ourselves are constrained by the scale of the license that the Population Office has given us. Historically we had a far bigger license, but we've had our license cut to a third of what it was and I'm sure others are in the same boat."

"Effective execution of Agenda 21 will require a profound
reorientation of all human society, unlike anything the world
has ever experienced a major shift in the priorities of both
governments and individuals and an unprecedented
redeployment of human and financial resources. This shift
will demand that a concern for the environmental consequences
of every human action be integrated into individual and
collective decision-making at every level.

£10-a-month fee to use NHS: Outrage at call to end era of free healthcare

PATIENTS would pay £10 a month to use the NHS and higher fees for prescriptions under plans revealed today.

People should also face extra costs for staying in hospital, a new report says.
But opponents slammed the “shocking” scheme and said it would hit hardest the most vulnerable members of society.
Patients’ Association chairman Dr Mike Smith warned: “These proposals would undermine a founding principle of the NHS that everything should be free at the time of need.
“If they took money away from hospitals and used it to fund community health services you would cut accident and emergency visits by 40 per cent.
“A lot of hospital patients are older and they want care in the community, but are forced to take up acute care beds costing four times as much.
“They have paid into the NHS their entire lives and now they need it we are telling them they have to pay again.”
The report – published by influential think tank Reform – comes as the NHS faces a funding gap of £30billion over the next seven years.
Fees would be imposed alongside council tax and would supplement established funding from wider levies that is capped at inflation.
The £10 membership could also entitle more people to an annual “health MoT” of basic checks.

"The Death Tax Scam"

Outrage at tax swoop on grieving families as Britain's share in death taxes is revealed

BRITAIN takes a bigger share in death taxes than nearly every other major economy, research has revealed.

As much as a third of the value of an estate can be swallowed up by inheritance tax. For the better off, only Ireland outstrips Britain in the amount of a legacy it will demand in death duties.
Further down the income scale, the UK taxman takes the fourth highest proportion of what is left to a family.
The report, by UHY Hacker Young accountancy group, highlighted how Britain has let more and more families get dragged into the inheritance tax net by failing to raise the tax-free threshold in line with soaring house prices – most people’s main asset.
Other countries have either made sure only the richest are caught or scrapped death duties altogether.
The UK is set to rake in some £24.3billion from the tax over the next five years.
David Cameron last week proposed raising the threshold for the hated tax if he wins next year’s general election.
The Conservatives went into the 2010 election promising a £1million threshold, following the Daily Express’s crusade against the duty, but were forced by the Lib Dems to drop the pledge.
The current threshold, making the tax payable on the value of assets over £325,000 per person – or £650,000 if someone passes everything to a surviving married spouse or civil partner on their death and that person then dies – has been frozen since 2009.
Where a £650,000 tax-free threshold applied researchers calculated that the UK would typically take 25.8 per cent, or £464,400 of a total £1.8million legacy.
That was more than three times the global average of 7.7 per cent.
If the tax-free threshold was only £325,000, for example because the dead person had not been married, the proportion of the estate taken by the Treasury would rise to 32.9 per cent.
Current plans would keep it in place until at least 2018, when average house prices are expected to be at or near the threshold, although in London they have already outstripped it.
UHY Hacker Young managing partner Ladislav Hornan said: “Big inheritance tax bills can reduce the incentive to keep creating wealth in order to pass it on to your family.
“They can also deprive the next generation of capital that traditionally has been key to funding the establishment of new businesses.
“That is why dynamic developed economies like Australia have scrapped inheritance taxes altogether and some emerging economies have never imposed them.
“By contrast, in the UK, the Exchequer has become increasingly reliant on the substantial income streams generated by inheritance tax.
“As more and more UK families are caught in the inheritance tax trap, pressure for major reform is growing."

"Cancer Is Not Cured With Medicine Or Drugs But With Knowledge"

Shaving hair off for charity

Watch how Heather raised thousands...

A Jersey woman has raised thousands of pounds for a cancer charity by shaving off all her hair.

38-year-old Heather Fowler organised the event not only to support the group After Breast Cancer, but for her partner who is losing her hair to the disease.

Jill Murphy, 46, was diagnosed at the start of this year. Jill has since had a mastectomy and two rounds of chemotherapy.

The support group After Breast Cancer Care has been a lifeline for the couple who have been together for 10 years.

She says she's very proud of what her girlfriend has done.

Jill says, “It’s fantastic what she’s done. To shave off her own hair so I wouldn’t feel odd. People stare at me because most of my hair is gone but now we can both be ‘baldies’ together.

“We can walk down the street and not care who is looking at us, we don’t need to wear hats!”

Jersey States savings unit 'an embarrassment'

Jersey's treasury minister should be embarrassed by the government's central procurement department, according to a former island politician.
Ben Shelton, who chaired the public accounts committee, told BBC News the department costs as much as it saves.
It follows a review of States procurement procedures, which made 25 recommendations for saving money.
The BBC approached Treasury Minister Philip Ozouf for a response, but he was not available to comment.
'Saved nothing'
Mr Shelton said: "The cost of the procurement department is way above what they are actually saving at the moment.
"It's a problem if it is costing you £10 to save £1 on an envelope when you take all the form filling into account.
"The cost of the department, at £3m, is a big cost to try to make savings on... the last set of accounts show they saved nothing.
"I'd be immensely embarrassed... you've got a department here that is costing a small fortune in taxpayer's money and it's not delivering."
Travel mystery
The Jersey Audit Office report focused on deals for transport and print contracts worth more than £100,000.
It reveals officials took three years to discover the States was spending £1m more than previously thought on printing.
Despite the formation of a procurement strategy in 2008, it was 2011 when a specialist contractor identified £1.6m of print expenditure, whereas previous accounts recorded £600,000.
Print expenditure has fallen 41% since then, although the report also raised concerns the specialist firm involved in 2011 was part of the same group which eventually won the managed print contract.
Corporate travel savings since 2011 were "in excess of the initial target" although it is not clear by how much.
Karen McConnell, Jersey's Comptroller and Auditor General, said as relevant figures were not reported it "impeded accountability".
She said: "The time is now right to revisit the corporate procurement strategy and to ensure that good procurement principles are followed across the States as a whole."

"Waking Up To The Mortgage Scam"

Banks have already been paid for mortgages

Since our economic commentators won’t ask this, I will.

If banks sell mortgages to investors, via the securitisation industry, how were they ever bust?

Pension funds, insurance companies, hedge funds, etc, buy mortgages and pay banks the principal, plus a premium up front as a lump-sum payment.

Therefore, the bank is paid in full, once, for the mortgage. The monthly payments of the homeowners are passed by the banks to the investors. Over the life of the mortgage, the investor earns more than they paid up-front to the banks, due to interest payments.

This is admitted — albeit grudgingly — by banks. They can no longer deny securitisation. But how do they explain being bust? They should be in extra credit, from the profit above the principal that the investor paid to them.

Are banks keeping shadow books? Is their securitised income declared for tax?

Where is that money?

How did the banks all arrive in Government Buildings in 2008, saying they needed to be bailed out overnight or the country would go bust, when their mortgages were all already paid in full? How can any bank in Ireland lay claim to the title of any house in Ireland if they have sold this right to others?

Henry Ford said: “it is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and money system, for, if they did, I believe there would be a revolution.”

"Jersey Sheep Still Begging For Permission From The Servants"

Camping petition gains almost 700 'likes'

A petition to allow people to camp in areas around Jersey that are not organised campsites has gained around 200 signatures since the start of this week.

The paper is called 'Allow Jersey Residents to camp overnight in their motorhomes in delegated areas around the island with use of a permit.'

People can currently be fined £500 if they are caught camping illegally without a permit.

The writer of the petition, Brett Muldoon, wants people to be able to camp overnight in areas of the island that aren't official campsites.

The petition states: "We understand the frustrations with small minorities that are disruptive to the surrounding environment and litter the areas, however the majority of us are respectful of the environment and just want to enjoy the beautiful scenery Jersey has to offer.

"We would like a permit to be issued allowing residents to camp overnight in 'agreed' locations of the island."

A Facebook group has also been set up to gain support for the cause has also been set up.

The social media group has gained almost 700 ‘likes’ since it was set up earlier this week.

"You Have A Inalienable Right To Camp"

Oh dear, the Masters asking the servants for permission again!

Let's get this straight once and for all, government cannot license anything that is not illegal....driving being a prime example as everyone has an inalienable right to travel.

Government are simply our employees, they are public servants, we the employers are the Masters, get that through your thick skulls.

We do not need permission from anyone to camp out under the stars, it is our land, not governments land, the land and everything on it was left to us by God, check out their law books if you don't believe me.

Even more sickening about this article is the fact that not only are people begging for permission to do something they already have a God given right to do, they are actively going out of their way to try and make the government charge them for the privilege!

Sleeping under the stars is not a benefit or a privilege, it is an inalienable right that all men and women have. The second you start grovelling for permission you lose your rights as you have approached government with a view to contracting with them.

Children ask for permission.

"Environment Department Receive Slapped Wrist For Breaking The Law"

Environment Dept in "sensitive" data breach

Jersey's Environment Department's been given a formal telling off for breaching data protection rules.

The island's Data Protection Officer says it involves "sensitive personal data".

It's issued formal enforcement notice.

It follows a complaint received by the Commissioner about information held by the department about an individual.

The information was received by the department from a third party source in relation to an investigation into breaches of Jersey’s planning and building law.

The Chief Executive Officer of Environment Department, Andy Scate, said: "The complaint arose after information was shared with the complainant as part of a data subject access request and the department has worked transparently and freely with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner on this matter."

"I welcome the enforcement notice because it provides further clarity as to what information should, and should not be held concerning compliance investigations."

It means the department must remove certain data it holds on the individual concerned, but only if the complainant agrees.

The department will also review its procedures.

"Curtis Warren & Tax Paying Mugs Stiffed Again"

Warren facing another ten years in jail

Drugs baron Curtis Warren is today facing the possibility of another ten years in jail after losing an appeal against a record £198m confiscation order.
Curtis Warren faces an extra ten years in jail
Last year the Royal Court ordered the gangster to pay the huge sum after ruling that he had amassed a fortune through years of drug trafficking.
And Warren, who is currently serving a 13-year sentence for attempting to smuggle £1m worth of cannabis into Jersey, was warned that unless he paid up he would spend another decade behind bars.
Today the Court of Appeal rejected his application for leave to appeal against the order.
The 50-year-old, who was due to be released next year, will now spend another ten years in a high security prison in the UK unless he pays back the £198m.

"Judge Michael Beloff QC said the evidence used was "entirely reasonable" and he was satisfied Warren could pay the money."

"Is 'Beetroot Head' Bob Drinking All Our Money Away?"

Church signs off its break from Diocese of Winchester
Jersey's centuries-old ties with the Diocese of Winchester have officially been severed after an agreement was signed for the Island to be overseen by the Bishop of Dover.
Typical church stained glass window, (stained) being the operative!
The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Bishop of Winchester, the Bishop of Dover and the Deans of Jersey and Guernsey yesterday signed the agreement to give effect to the changes announced in January.
The move follows a long-running dispute which started following concerns over the handling of a sexual abuse claim by Jersey's Dean, the Very Rev Bob Key. He was cleared of any wrongdoing.
Mr Key welcomed the move, which will be followed by a commission being set up to look at the relationship between the islands and the wider Church of England.
He said that no decision had yet been made about if Jersey would ever return to the Diocese of Winchester or if a Diocese of the Channel Islands could be created.
"Purple Headed People Eater"
That is some colour kyte, and some plum nose too, has Bob's way of living (off the peoples hard earned tax bucks) finally caught up with him?
Looks like parasite, Bob Key, has finally bitten off more than he can chew with regard to the stresses of life and conscience. He was cleared of any wrongdoing, yet looks as though he is drinking himself into the ground, with guilt and shame being the tools of his demise.
Yet he walks hand in hand with all concerned to bring about a Channel Island coup to abandon the church for the mere mortal whilst plotting (it appears) to bring about a new church where Emperor Bailhache will be the leading light.
Readers, it's a New World Order thing, out with the old and in with the new, the new being the worship of Gaia....
Why have Guernsey joined the debacle?
What has Jersey's problems with the church got to do with Guernsey?
Serf Bailhache, in my opinion, along with the Corporation of the City of London, is trying to instigate some sort of super duper world wide banking cartel exclusive to those in power as Switzerland is losing it's grip as the fanciful place to store your ill gotten gains.
We know the American Dollar will soon be busted and disbanded as the world currency, it is unsustainable via debt created through the Federal Reserve.
My next posting will explain my rantings in a language the plebs will understand.
Until then....

"It's All Hush Hush Up At H.M.P La Moye"

Jersey prison staff accused of misconduct

Two female members of prison staff accused of breaching a code of conduct have resigned.
The women, who worked at Jersey's La Moye Prison, quit before the misconduct allegations could be investigated.
One resigned a few days ago and the other on Wednesday morning, meaning the two separate investigations into the claims were abandoned.
Prison Governor Bill Millar said the reasons for any individuals resigning were private matters.
No details of the allegations have been revealed.
Earlier this month questions were asked in the island's government about alleged misconduct by staff at La Moye.
It followed allegations in a national newspaper that a former prison drugs counsellor had an affair with convicted drug dealer Curtis Warren at the prison.

"Suddenly, There Are Rules At Prison?"
Typical Jersey, after a scandal breaks there are suddenly some rules to abide by!
"Prison Governor Bill Millar said the reasons for any individuals resigning were private matters."
How can these resignations be private matters when the two staff members are accused of breaching codes of conduct?
Below is how it really goes....
Quit before the investigation starts and everything will be ok, it's just like the Mario Lundy scenario, isn't it really?
Lundy walks from his job this year with a gold plated pension, and no doubt a huge pay off for his valuable services in keeping his child beating trap shut before, during, and after the Committee of Inquiry farce has run it's course.

Christ!!! I just can't wait to see what they try and do with child beater and child rapist Danny Wherry, who still works for the States of Jersey at Overdale Hospital?
Corruption all the way,
