"Someone Had A Smashing Time On His Scooter!"

"Who Is Our Mystery Kamikaze Biker?"

Over the week I have had a number of messages and a phone call about a crash between a scooter and a car on Route Du Forte at 4.30pm last Saturday.

One of them is below :)

"So given that the Govt want us to respect & obey the law, word on the street is that last saturday at 4-30 Chief Bowron crossed a double white line on route du fort ,junction of clevland road and crashed his scooterbike into a car,the road was put in immediate isolation, and I have watched the J.E.P ever since...NO REPORT of it,so if this is the case a chief police officer covering up a crash he was responsible for is a serious crime and he should be sacked.....any advance on resignation..and could the rag be complicit in such an event...? "

  2. Covering up a scooter crash is pretty trivial when it comes to what Bowron has been up to just ask John Nutting QC.

    1. Interesting! I have had dealings with John Nutting QC, not what I would call an honourable man!!!

  3. Ian.

Will any of Jersey's finest investigative "journalists" be looking into this alleged "event?" What do you THINK?

    1. I doubt it VFC, we haven't even heard a word about Doris 'dolly' Ropers yet, and we know the JEP know about it.

  7. They posted the info on Facebook twice. Once to say road was closed due to RTA, and once again about 2 hours later to say that it was open. As previously mentioned, it has now been taken down. Interesting...

  8. I am told that he overtook at a junction & a car turned right - into his path!!. (There are currently 7480 suspects!)

"IF" this is the case then I would say he is culpable as NO decent motorcyclist overtakes at any junction unless they have no brain & a spare set of limbs.

As he is a qualified Police motorcyclist it "Beggars belief" (<- stolen JEP quote by Bowron ) that he would do such a thing!.

I agree with a previous comment that this is likely a minor indiscretion to those very currently circulating the Island! As this man is there to ensure justice - let's hope it occurs!

  9. "overtook & a car turned right"
Where have we heard that before? You'd think he'd have learnt from the Near Green Island death........
