"Anthony Nolan Trust Are Looking For Donors Today So Turn Up"
Jersey Friends of Anthony Nolan are recruiting potential bone marrow donors at St James this afternoon (Friday).
They are looking for people aged 16 to 30 and in good health.
For thousands of people with a blood cancer such as leukaemia, a bone marrow transplant is their only chance of survival.
By joining the Anthony Nolan register, you could give them that chance.
A simple saliva test is all that is needed.
The recruitment of potential donors is at St James' Centre in Le Breton Lane (behind the church building) between 3.30pm and 6.00pm.
It is the first Donor Recruitment Session since the age range for donors changed to 16 - 30 years (formerly 18 - 40 years).
