"Dental Monopoly Allowed To Continue Unabated"

Dental schemes neglected for too long, says States Deputy

No anaesthetic will dull the pain of the cost of a trip to the dentists

URGENT action needs to be taken to improve dental health schemes provided by the States following years of false promises and neglect by ministers, a St Helier Deputy has said.
Three years ago a review found that ministers had neglected their remit in relation to dental health and recommended a number of changes and updates to the system.
However, those recommendations have, to date, not been acted upon and Deputy Geoff Southern now wants that to change.
This week he lodged a proposition with the Assembly in which he calls for six of the original 18 recommendations to be implemented.
Why only 6 of the original 18 recommendations?
