  2. Oh, so if police officers are going to commit dangerous crimes, they just can't do it during their scheduled working hours? OK.

  4. This guys days in the police are numbered, how can he charge someone with drink driving, when he has been convicted himself ? I would like to know what is the worst crime a police officer can commit and still stay in the force under present day (jersey way) rules ?

    1. Everything from grave and criminal assault to perjury, and up to and including protecting child rapists (and destroying the evidence) is my experience of the Jersey Police Force, unless of course you count road accidents! On that score we have policemen protecting the killer of Dita Paverniece, and the cop who took a woman's head off with his police car, both incidents down at St Clement.

Having said all that, we are only going by what we are actually aware of, what else is there that we have not discovered yet?

    1. Lenny Harper was concerned with cleaning the force up - this guy, having come here with a 'reputation' and as 'the chosen one', is doing exacly the opposite.

  7. Last time Game Show suspended an officer he got egg on his face, his fear of F...ing up again has led him to make an astonishing error of judgement. So an officer 'Off Duty' who commits a dishonesty offence and leaves a motorcyclist injured in the road, all because he is drunk driving is a very suitable person to be potentially arresting people for the very same offences and upholding the good reputation of the Police!!. The lunatic's have taken over the asylum. Disgraceful decision's by the police officer concerned now being condoned by his Chief. What an excellent example of how inept and inappropriate Bowron is to run what is actually a fine Force. The sooner he goes the better for the Force and Island.
