"Police Ask Islanders To Do Their Job For Them!"

Islanders asked to keep an eye out for suspicious behaviour

Islanders have been asked to stay alert
ISLANDERS are being asked to report suspicious behaviour around Jersey’s coastline to the police, to stop terrorists and other criminals using the Island to get to the UK.
Police will also be increasing patrols this summer to combat crime on the coastline.
Although there is currently no specific national security threat to the Island, police say, Jersey does remain vulnerable and has in the past been used as a ‘stepping stone’ to the UK for criminals.
These include individuals with a national security interest, human and drug traffickers and organised crime groups, the force says.
