"Perhaps Anne Pryke & Jersey Health Could Furnish Us With A Full List Of Vaccine Ingredients?"
MMR jab special clinic
Dr Linda Diggle, head of healthcare programmes at the Health department
CHILDREN who did not receive the MMR vaccine following concerns overs the jab ten years ago are being urged to attend a special vaccination clinic this weekend.
Uptake of the jab plummeted between 2002 and 2005 after now-discredited claims that the vaccine could be linked to autism.
Now, following an outbreak of measles in the UK, children who did not receive the jab are being urged to attend a free clinic at the out-patients department at the General Hospital between 10 am and 2 pm on Saturday.
It comes after Public Health staff wrote to more than 500 parents of children in the school years five to eight whose records showed they had not received the two MMR vaccine doses.
