"Oh Dear...."

Live horror to amaze visitors this winter

ISLANDERS could be in for the fright of their lives this Christmas with the arrival of a terrifying new visitor attraction.

Jersey’s first-ever live horror maze is due to open this winter, at an undisclosed location. Called The Awakening, the horror maze centres on a previously hidden facility where possible genetic experiments, teleportation and time travel were being developed decades ago.

The bold and the brave will be invited to tour ‘excavation works’ that have revealed a series of forgotten rooms sealed since the end of the Second World War.

Patrons to be given refund or chance to see Dynamo again

Celebrity magician Dynamo

ISLANDERS who paid £150 to watch the celebrity magician Dynamo perform will be offered the chance to see him again free of charge or given their money back after scores of complaints about the event.

Firethorn Productions, which organised the performance at the Royal Yacht Hotel on Saturday, have apologised after the event was described as ‘a shambles’ with many of the 400 guests not even catching a glimpse of the star they had paid to see.

They are now hoping to bring him back to the Island for a special free performance for ticket holders. Alternatively, a full refund will be offered to guests who want it.
