"Police Camera Action Episodes Don't Swerve!!!"

Drink-driver ‘swerving like a Police Camera Action episode’

A DRINK-DRIVER who came close to hitting a man cutting his hedge and narrowly avoided another man pushing a pram in St Saviour was sentenced to community service and banned from driving on Friday.

The 31-year-old’s was so bad it was described by a witness as the ‘worst they had ever seen’ and like watching television show Police Camera Action, the Royal Court heard.

Numerous Islanders called the police after watching the man, who was uninsured and did not have a driving licence, drifting and swerving from one side of the road to the other on roads in St Saviour on 30 May, narrowly missing oncoming traffic.

He was was sentenced to 190 hours’ community service, fined £300 and banned from driving for 18 months for a number of motoring offences.

"The 31-year-old’s was so bad" do they actually mean that "The 31-year-old’s 'driving' was so bad"?
The JEP! Top class reporting....

Nearly killed two people, possibly three with the child in the pram, and he gets community service and a fine! Talk about our courts lining their own pockets.
