"Game-Show Mike Throws A 'True Pig' Off The Stage!"

High Ranking Policeman
'David Minty' Suspended :)

One of Jersey's top policemen has been suspended for allegedly 'disobeying a lawful order'.

It's claimed Chief Inspector David Minty refused to carry out an order from the Chief, Mike Bowron, and has now been disciplined.

Jersey Police have confirmed an officer has been suspended but refused to comment further.

Oh, the shame porky!!! :)

  1. Right then, best start smearing Mike Bowron as we can't let this happen to a good ole boy can we!!

  2. It's certainly going to be interesting isn't it! Wonder what game they are all up to?

  3. Yup. will be interesting to know what order he refused to obey as well. I don't know what you think of Bowron but I wonder if he has just been biding his time to get in the system and is now maybe going to finish what Harper And Power started.

Ok, I know I might be clutching at straws there!!

    1. What I think of Mike Bowron I cannot say as I have never met the man. What I think of Mike Bowron's policing methods will become apparent at the weekend....

  5. Ian do you have any personal thoughts on what is behind this.

  6. Could be anything when we consider that this is Jersey. I understand Minty did some serious wrongdoing in the Curtis Warren debacle, could be to do with that. But there again, the new english cop that came over with Stewart Gull "allegedly" got fired for getting a lower ranking cop to fetch his takeaway curry for him!!!

  7. The amount of contrived evidence that Minty has given to courts over the years he deserves nothing less than to be fired.

  8. I have read he was behind Stuart Syvrets arrest. I wonder if this is an establishment dismissal or an independant police decision.

  9. A number of surprising changes seen in recent days could be connected to this. What if the word is out that a future investigation into the cover-up for Jimmy Savile, particularly concerning BBC, could very well bring close scrutiny of the Jersey Police, the Jersey BBC and the judicial corruption issue. It can't only be a coincidence we can all see this huge change in the BBC Jersey now that many witnesses are coming out and saying they knew about the BBC cover-up for Savile, and the link to Jersey will inevitably draw in the Jersey aspect, and HdlG. I think it is important to the Police Chief to look like a man who is not owned by the establishment, but whether or not it is too late for that I don't know.

  10. Absolutely anon

There is much gamesmanship going on at the minute, pure desperation in order to turn away any prying eyes. Whilst I still think Francis Le Gresley is ok, I remain sceptical about his sudden "I will resign" video on VoiceForChildren, it's just way to coincidental for my probing mind, and especially after his very long silence on the matter. All of a sudden, those we knew would do little or nothing, now seem to have sprung to life!!!

    1. There is a saying that "Politics is the art of the possible."

Right now it seems apparent the possibility of real outside scrutiny has turned in to a probability. It may no longer be "possible" for politicians, State Media reporters, the Police Chief, civil servants, and certain powerful people in the UK to stay safe behind their usual party lines. For some, it could seem more prudent to take a quick detour into doing the right thing in time to salvage a reputation. For others, it may be much more serious than just reputation.

  11. What I am thinking, after reading yesterdays JEP and seeing Mr. Harper claim he was not aware of complaints against JS at HDLG.

Leaving Mick Gradwell the senior investigating officer.

If and this is all speculation Gradwell did not follow procedures in complaints made against JS could this somehow fall on minty as reading Graham Powers interim statement with wiltshire I could be reading it wrong but Mr Power spoke about the preservation of corporate memory and said it was logical head of CID undertake this role. Are there complaints, were they followed up do they exist etc etc.

    1. Can you provide more details? Even if it is speculation, it is interesting. What are the connections between GP and Minty you mean? I don't understand the corporate memory part.

    2. Still speculation.

If you read 175 from Graham powers interim statement below.

Researching corporate memory I gather it is the accumulation of data, in effect records, if Minty as CID had responsibility for this and somehow it is not available for what ever reason MB would not have been happy if he can not provide information required by outside police forces.

      175. Nevertheless, I gave thought to how we might develop a “plan B,” and be in a position to phase-in a new leadership should that be appropriate. The plan involved David Minty who was a Chief Inspector and head of the C.I.D. By that time some of the early confusion had cleared, and it was emerging that the “cover up” allegations did not appear to have implications for David. On one occasion when we were together I spoke to David Minty and Mr Harper about the need for continuity and the preservation of corporate memory. I said it was logical that the head of C.I.D. should undertake this role, and that David Minty should begin shadowing Mr Harper and become more visible in briefings and media events. I recall that this happened for a while but then became less noticeable. I see from his statement (paragraph 26) that David says this was in consequence of him being made Acting Superintendent and head of operations. I think that this is a thin excuse. He was given an opportunity, and should have grasped it. Most other people were by then, doing two jobs at once. He should have made more effort. I asked Lenny Harper about David Minty’s role, and he said that he had shown interest in the career opportunity of being associated with the enquiry, but less interest in the hard work involved. I accept that there will be more than one side to this account, but this is all of the information I have access to at the time of writing.

    3. simply put, if Minty did not keep preserve, lost, or hold records, where would that leave the allegations against JS or the police?

    5. Having worked for the Corporation of the City of London, Mike would surely know all about corporate issues and their consequences.

    7. Sorry, I was laughing at the joke (?) about City of London corporate issues and consequences. Child abuse is never funny and police corruption is what permits it all too often.

    8. Anon,

It is "US" that permit and allow it to happen!!! No one else. Simply because we do nothing to stop it!!!

  12. Could records have been lost before Mike arrived or even realised. Did we know this episode was going to break in the UK I dont think so. If MB then asks Minty to produce evidence he needs to send to Met to aid their investigation, whats he to do?

  13. Perhaps I have an over active imagination. Like I say speculation on my part.

  15. How convenient would it be if there is no record of allegations in Jersey for establishment. Yet what a cock up for the police as victims have already according to the media engaged lawyers.

  16. I am going to interject at this point, and wisely so I think. Minty, as Stuart has said, as I have said, as anonymous commenters over the years have said, is a totally corrupt vassal of the Jersey Olligarchy. He has lied and cheated hundreds, probabley thousands over the decades, and on behalf of Jersey's finest.

I have my own personal file on this clown, yet, as we are witnessing today, he, like all the other vassals of Jersey Governance, is expendible....The other vassal's should take note before the axe falls on them?

  21. I posted a link to this thread on Suvret's blog - It seems that he is unable to publish it due to "Jersey reporting restrictions"

    I asked:
Is this where the "Jersey Super Dysfunction" and utilising the four establishment blackshirts/misfits starts coming apart at the seams ?

Ian & TJW - I do not need to tell you of the Establishment's desperation to hold on to power. They will sacrifice anyone and anything and just try to brazen it out under the smokescreen of their presstitutes

    1. If Stuart takes a blind bit of notice about these alleged reporting restrictions that "ONLY APPLY" to "LEGAL FICTION PERSONS", then that is for him.

We have explained it to Stuart, he is not held by it, it is his own choice to be held to their rules and by-laws. Let them try to place the very same gagging order on me! I will publish it within minutes of knowing about it :)
