"Jersey Government Nut-Jobs Out Oppressing The People Again"

4 inches too big for St Helier

video

A Jersey shop owner has been told he has to take down his street sign as it's 4 inches bigger than the specified size.

Bob Bridgen owns the 99p shop in Halkett Street, St Helier.

He says the sign has been there for six years and hasn't caused any problems.

And without it his business would suffer in what are tough economic times.
