"Jersey Justice System - A Cesspit Of Filth"

"Our Thanks To Planet Jersey"

Cyril caught this little number on Planet Jersey a couple of days ago.

What you will read is beyond belief, even for the more hardened activists amongst us.
Raping a child is cheap this week!!!

The laughing stock that purport to be judges/magistrates have really excelled themselves this time. Without further ado, just read for yourselves, the two days for contempt was Cyril's case :)

Just had a read through the JEP, "Magistrates Court", column tonight.

Contempt of Court= 2 Days Jail
Holding phone driving=£200 fine
Breach of Peace= 8weeks Jail
Grave and Criminal Assault=Bound over for 12 months.!!!!!!!! >:(
Indecent Exposure = 4 weeks jail.
Having sex with a minor = 120 hrs Community service!!!!! >:( >:( >:(

What kind of message does this send out?
Dont get drunk and have a wee fall-out with your mates, and maybe piss against a wall on your way home.
But ,"Fire right in there, if you want to abuse kids and then seriously assault someone".

I agree that the sentences handed down for what I would consider something serious, are often a joke; and deporting foreigners who have broken the law is quite rare.
Please don't tell me about the EU (we're not in it), or mention some scumbag's human rights!

Contempt of Court= 2 Days Jail says Fritz,

Do you know what that contempt of court was ?

Swearing at the magistrate ?

Throwing items at the clerks ?

Fighting the guards and causing mayhem?

Being rude and obnoxious and loud ?

No

It was for preferring to stay seated, as the magistrate does, to hear the charges laid against him.

Fritz is right, the judicial system has gone completely mad and obviously the magistrate considers herself more important than justice ?

Two days in prison for being polite but preferring to stay seated.  " Hello Westminster " have a look at our justice system and the ego's that work in it.
