"Ten Years To Decide On Repairs"

Jersey's St James Church repair is agreed

A 19th century Jersey church is being restored after the States of Jersey agreed to pay for repairs.

St James Church in St Helier has been covered in scaffolding for the past decade over fears of falling masonry.
It is used by the Jersey Arts Centre as a venue for concerts and plays and will still be able to be used while the work is carried out.

Jersey Property Holdings will make the spire safe again and work is due to start in September.

  1. Would love to be the scaffold contractor....the hire would have bought the scaffold equipment many times ...states efficiency he must be laughing his cock off
