Islanders question our banks
Channel Islanders are moving more of their money into Co-op share accounts since the banking crisis hit 4 years ago.
Over that time deposits with the society have more than doubled and Co-op bosses put that down to a loss of faith in traditional banks.
With the recent scandal over Barclays rate fixing, banker bonuses and the misselling of financial products, it is easy to see why people don't trust bankers.
In fact an ITV news poll has found that banking is now the least trusted profession.
