"Crowning A Crook"

Crowning their careers

Honoured: John Hodge, Jean Le Maistre, Dawn Woodhouse and Michael Birt
THREE Islanders whose voluntary work represents the kindness and community spirit at the heart of Jersey life have been recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

In this very special Diamond Jubilee year, former Senator Jean Le Maistre, who has been volunteering to help people at home and abroad for 50 years, John Hodge, manager of the Shelter Trust homeless charity, and Dawn Woodhouse, the founder of Holidays for Heroes Jersey, have all been made MBEs.
The Bailiff, Michael Birt, whose role reflects the unique relationship between Jersey and the Crown, has been knighted.

"Spot The Difference?"

The first three have done fantastic work in the community for the good of the common people.

The last one has done the complete opposite!!!

Pitiful Jersey....
