Jersey Rugby Club have won the National League One title and promotion to the Championship Division, with victory over Coventry.

The Island side’s fairy tale rise to the top continued with a 37-13 bonus-point away win to give them the title and entry into the second-highest tier of English rugby.

Jersey were leading 13-6 at half-time and kept up the pressure in the second half to finish 24 points ahead.
They still have one more match to play at home at St Peter next Saturday when, whatever the result, they will undoubtedly celebrate in style with their thousands of supporters.
