After being a politician for 24 years, Jersey's Chief Minister bowed out of public life on Monday with his last official engagement.
He will officially be replaced by Senator Ian Gorst on Thursday, when the latter chooses his Council of Ministers in the States.
During his time in the States, Terry Le Sueur's role has varied from introducing GST to opening a new meerkat feature at Durrell.

On Monday Mr Le Sueur unveiled the Décollage statue, which is being repositioned at Jersey Airport's roundabout.
The major part of the project costs is being met by Barchester Healthcare, the group behind residental home Lakeside Manor and Pavilions - which specialises in dementia - and is opposite the roundabout.
