Man left unconscious after assault


A 29-year-old man was left unconscious after an assault in Mulcaster Street in St Helier.

He also suffered a fractured nose, cuts and bruises.

The incident is believed to have started in the Office pub.

He was taken to hospital and kept in overnight for observations.

Police are appealing for witnesses.

The suspect is described as being a white European male, mid 30's, 6'3", muscular build, bald head and wearing a light-coloured "V" neck jumper and blue jeans.

The area was busy with people at the time and Police are asking any witnesses to contact them on 612612 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
