Missing man - still missingFears are growing for a man who went missing earlier this week in Jersey.
Janusz Marzec, 45, was last seen by work colleagues in the Millais area of St Ouen on Monday.
Today friends of the farm worker, who has a wife and three children in his native Poland, put out a fresh appeal in the hope of finding him.
Stephen Labey, Janusz's Boss, said Janusz was meant to turn up for work at Five Roads Farm in St Ouen on the morning of the day he went missing, but never showed up - a move he says is completely out of character.
He said: "We're very concerned as to his whereabouts. He turned up for work at half past six outside his accommodation on Monday morning, and was due to start work at seven, and between half past six and seven he completely disappeared and we have absolutely no idea where he is."
Police say there was a possible sighting of Janusz at the Spar shop at First Tower Wednesday afternoon around about a quarter to five. It's reported he was asking people for money to help pay his bus fare.
Janusz is described as being 5’7” (1.74m) tall, proportionate build, shaved brown hair, tattoos on his arms and right side of his neck. He had a red baseball cap with ‘Tuskie’ written on the back of it. He was wearing working clothes and blue jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Headquarters or ask Mr Marzec to contact Police Headquarters on 612612.
