"Izabela, Kinga and Kacper Rzeszowski Inquest Opened"
Inquest opens on stabbing victims
Killer Damian Rzeszowski
THE bodies of three of the Victoria Crescent stabbing victims have been released for cremation.
Inquests were formally opened this morning into the deaths of Izabela, Kinga and Kacper Rzeszowski and almost immediately adjourned so that the bodies could be released.
Damian Rzeszowski, the husband of Izabela (30) and the father of six-year-old Kinga and two-year-old Kacper, has been charged with their murders. He has also been charged with the murders of another three people on the same occasion.
He has reserved his pleas to all six charges and will next appear in court on Friday 28 October.
In the brief inquest hearing, held at Morier House, the detective leading the inquiry into the deaths – Detective Superintendent Stewart Gull – told Relief Coroner Margaret Bayes that neither he nor the Home Office pathologist had any objection to the release of the bodies.
