"Police Tell Us All We Need To Know About Flexible Pub Opening Hours"

Weekend ‘quiet and cosmopolitan’, say police

Disorder Offences Were Down - Enough Said

ST Helier had a ‘relaxed and cosmopolitan’ atmosphere at the weekend thanks to extended licensing hours, according to the police.
‘We are pleased to report that over the extended weekend there was no additional draw on police resources and in terms of crime or anti-social behaviour it remained relatively quiet,’ the spokesman said.
‘This was a very positive result and arrests for drink related public disorder and anti-social behaviour were down.’
