"Property Quango - Ticking All The Wrong Boxes"
TWO politicians ‘skewed the markings’ during the recruitment process for the board of Jersey’s new States Development Company, it was claimed yesterday.
Jersey Appointments Commission member Ken Soar alleged that two States Members – who it is understood to be Senator Sarah Ferguson and Deputy Phil Rondel – gave the same candidate top scores in every competency.
That candidate, who was being interviewed for the position of non-executive director of the Jersey Development Company, was deemed ‘unappointable’ by the Jersey Appointments Panel, Mr Soar claimed.
