Did they know what they were signing?
Ted Vibert with the petition signed by more than 10,000 people
Yesterday the JDA announced that they had gained more than 10,000 signatures for their petition – but concerns have been raised from some of the signatories who were told it was about fighting the GST rise to 5% that takes place from June, not about getting rid of the Treasury Minister.
Three Islanders have called the JEP to complain since concerns were first raised yesterday.

Sorry about the crude manner in which this post entered the realms of the not so bright, in Jersey.
ReplyDeleteAlmost posted it 3 hours ago, then stoped for some unknown reason, but there we are. All safe and sound now in the public domain :O)
Truth be known, I loathe the JDA.
ReplyDeleteAll pomp and pagentry, until that is, it comes to doing the business! Then, just a dust cloud!!! Nobody home! Abandon ship! you get it now?
Shona Pitman's "I'l kick ass" statement, was a classic, as was her pledge to help me after I had given her the goods on the Bay-leaf Bailhache. But, that was the last I heard of Shona, until of course, her 10 Grand fine?
Clearly, her ass collapsed and she was then brought into line as a true OLLIE!
"FEEL THE FORCE" hey Shona? Twatted in your purse, you collapse and fold like a true JDA member....
Having "gymslip Ge-off" amongst your rank and file, really don't help matters either!
Our lame ass JDA should be using tonight's "JUSTIFIED INSULT" to accrue some balls and face the world like men and women, people who want serious change, and not sitting there shiting themselves over more fines....
SHONA PITMAN....YOU OWE YOUR ELECTORATE, AND YOU OWE ME !!!
Very nicely put.
